Prose & Page Turners Joins “The Prince, the Sister and the Serpent” and Signs On for Upcoming Adaptation of Providence

Bozeman, MT – November 10, 2025 – Rising production company Prose & Page Turners has officially joined the production of The Prince, the Sister and the Serpent, the upcoming fantasy-action feature written and directed by Omar Parker. The company, founded by sisters Desiree and Mariah Turner, also announced its next project, an adaptation of Providence, an original epic adventure novel by Jonathan Gower and Desiree Turner set for release this December.

Founded earlier this year, Prose & Page Turners marks the Turner sisters’ debut in film production. Guided by producer and filmmaker Jonathan Gower, the company aims to bridge creative storytelling across multiple media, from film to literature. With a focus on IP development and creative writing, the company is already collaborating with Parker on a slate of new projects planned through 2028 and beyond.

The Prince, the Sister and the Serpent is a mythic tale blending fantasy, action, and dark humor. Its logline reads: A Phoenician prince attempts to rescue his sister from the gods, but when he slays a sacred dragon, he incurs a divine curse that dooms his bloodline. With his wife Harmonia at his side, he must find a way to break the cycle of suffering before the gods reduce his legacy to ruin. The film has been described as Conan the Barbarian (1982) meets The Mummy (1999), promising audiences a bold cinematic journey steeped in ancient myth and human resilience.

Leading Prose & Page Turners are sisters Desiree and Mariah Turner, whose lifelong love of storytelling and film inspired them to pursue a creative venture together. Raised in Montana, the Turner sisters were inseparable growing up, bonding over books, art, and countless movie nights that fueled their imaginations. After both earning science degrees from Montana State University, they found their way back to their artistic roots, deciding to transform their shared passion into a storytelling company. The name Prose & Page Turners is a family homage, born from their mother’s once-favorite baby name “Paige Turner.”

“We wanted to create something that reflects our love of stories in every form,” said Desiree Turner. “Working with Omar Parker and Jonathan Gower on The Prince, the Sister and the Serpent feels like the perfect start to that mission.”

Jonathan Gower, a producer, writer, and director known for his acclaimed collaborations with Parker, including the Tribeca-selected short Salta and the hit YouTube series Captain’s Log, joins the company as a creative partner. Gower brings with him an impressive background of more than 17 feature films and 23 shorts showcased at top-tier festivals such as Tribeca, Sundance, and Cannes.

Gower’s upcoming novel Providence, co-written with Desiree Turner, will be released in December 2025 ahead of its film adaptation. Drawing inspiration from cinematic adventures like The Mummy and Rush Hour, the story promises to deliver a thrilling mix of monsters, mythology, and heartfelt heroism.

As Prose & Page Turners begins its journey into the entertainment world, the trio’s blend of creativity, collaboration, and storytelling passion is already establishing them as a company to watch. With The Prince, the Sister and the Serpent entering production and Providence on the horizon, Prose & Page Turners is setting the stage for a new era of mythic, character-driven entertainment.
