Staunton, Virginia – July 14, 2020 – Phyllis Campbell, the popularly renowned author of the bestseller Where Sheep May Safely Graze, a book that highlights faith and courage is at it again! Phyllis Campbell is thrilled to announce the release of her new book titled Goin’ Home and now available on Amazon. The new book is a blend of Christian values, struggle, chaos, humor and divine intervention by God. Being a book that represents what most Christians around the world face, Goin’ Home is an ideal read for everyone who wants their spirit and faith consolidated.
Goin’ Home tells the story of Pastor Jim, the protagonist of the book. Jim was a middle-aged man who became blind while in Iraq. Therefore, his blindness was a perfect test of faith for him, his wife, and other people around him. This is because Jim and his wife, Amy, were able to settle down after uproar that almost destroyed their town, only to find that the storm was not yet over.
What makes Goin’ Home more thrilling and a Pulitzer candidate is the proper use of suspense by the author. Phyllis Campbell uses Goin’ Home to educate readers that the most peaceful garden can sometimes harbor serpents. This is because as the story unfolds, the whole town is thrown into chaos when a mass killer returned home to die after fifty years in prison. Furthermore, Phyllis writing style can be duly compared with that of Jan Karon. Hence, any reader who enjoys the Mitford series will find Goin’ Home so thrilling and exhilarating.
While launching Goin’ Home, Phyllis said, “If you long for a book that both shows the travails of every child of God, then Goin’ Home is the perfect book for you. It is a story that shows us that in every seemingly good situation, one must be wary of devil’s antics and in every bad situation, if we’re faithful to God and believe in His power, we will always come out victorious.”
The author consciously put her soul and experience to the book as the main character; Jim reflects the personality of the author, who is also a blind. The book can also be used as a gift to Christians, new couples, young adults, blind and budding entrepreneurs. Goin’ Home is published by GoldTouch Press, LLC.
