The 2026 Noble Technology Awards global winners have been revealed, spotlighting top innovators driving AI, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and digital transformation. Sherry Peiyilin Shen, a leading big data cloud platform architect, has received the Silver Medal for Outstanding Technical Expertise – Distinguished Cloud Architect, recognizing her transformative work in cloud architecture and intelligent big data applications that strengthen U.S. technological competitiveness and national digital infrastructure.
Presented by International Awards Associate (IAA Global), the Noble Technology Awards are a globally respected benchmark for tech innovation and leadership, selected by a panel of industry leaders and scholars. This year’s contest drew competitors from more than 100 countries, with strict evaluation of technical excellence and real-world impact.
A graduate of the University of California, San Diego, and Washington University in St. Louis, Shen combines cross-disciplinary expertise in mathematics, economics, business analytics, and cloud computing. As a core member of the 2019 Teradata Data Challenge global championship team, she delivered data frameworks that improve operational efficiency for U.S. businesses and reinforce data-driven decision-making across key industries.
During her tenure at Amazon Web Services (AWS), a pillar of U.S. cloud technology, Shen has mastered OpenSearch, Kafka, Kinesis and other core services. She has resolved over 1,000 complex technical issues for global customers, earned multiple AWS MVP honors, and published pioneering research—all of which enhance the performance, security, and reliability of America’s leading cloud platform, supporting U.S. digital sovereignty, industrial growth, and high-tech job creation.
