A small one-man garage door repair company, John’s Garage Doors serving Oro Valley, Marana and Tucson for several years now is showing it’s appreciation for the community and Arizona basketball. Based in the Northwest part of Tucson, business has grown considerably in the past year as the company continues to make a name for itself by getting positive reviews from area residents.
Recognizing the passion Tucson has for Arizona basketball, owner John Mucciacciaro decided to give back to the community that has been so good to him while also celebrating the ‘Cats’ recent PAC-12 Championship by offering a discount to new customers throughout the “March Madness” tournament.
“I already have great customers who are kind enough to spread the word about the work I do and who give me great reviews, so rather than spend money on TV or radio, I thought I would put that money back in the pockets of my neighbors who need garage door repair and who may not know me yet by offering a special March Madness discount.”
When garage doors break, people can be left stranded. By letting neighbors know that he’s ready and available to quickly help them, Mucciacciaro hopes that no one will miss any of the tournament viewing they’re looking forward to watching.
Mucciacciaro has over 25 years experience in the garage door repair industry and has worked for various large and small garage door companies over the years before starting his own company. He says the appreciation of a job well done by area residents, and their willingness to spread the word, is what has kept him busy.
“My operation is small – it’s just me and my 25 years of experience taking care of all of Tucson. By keeping it small like this, costs are minimized and I get to pass those savings on to my customers and make them happy.”
