Bryan East, a father and IT solutions architect from Fort Worth, Texas, has announced an exciting crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter to support the release of his first children’s book, The Nothingness. 

Inspired by a bedtime story he often told his oldest daughter, The Nothingness is a heartwarming tale of exploration, determination, and discovered feelings. The story engages the minds of young readers and captivates their imaginations as they are taken on an adventure through our cosmos, and encounter lessons about our universe, solar system, and planets. Additionally, the story exposes readers to a broad spectrum of human emotions, such as apprehension, nervousness, and loneliness, as well as love, determination, and grit, and helps them derive valuable lessons along the way. A favorite story in the East household, Bryan is looking forward to sharing the story worldwide later year. 

With the manuscript written and the story ready to be told, Bryan has a publisher, editor, and illustrator onboard who will help transition The Nothingness from a nightly bedtime story into a heartwarming children’s book with over 25 beautiful illustrations. Funds raised through the crowdfunding campaign will be used for that purpose. At the same time, Bryan pledges to donate excess funds to the Fort Worth Public Library Foundation, a local non-profit committed to providing basic library resources to the entire Worth community, to provide for the purchase of free children’s books.
