Jasiek Wolak-Dyszyński, a professional photographer and inventor located in Krakow, Poland, has announced an exciting new crowdfunding campaign for his latest product. The invention, called “Szelma,” is a handmade cork camera strap perfect for the modern photography enthusiast. Created to be 100% eco-friendly and vegan, the camera strap is a durable and natural solution to traditional leather straps. Made entirely with cork, Szelma is a high-quality, stylish and waterproof accessory perfect for any photographer and camera. 

The Szelma collection comes in six different colors to fit users’ individual styles. Thanks to its eco-friendly material, the product is designed to be lightweight and comfortable for daily use. Produced entirely by local craftsmen in Poland, Szelma is a high-quality product that doesn’t sacrifice environmental sustainability in favor of premier durability nor beauty — to seal the deal, its packaging will also be made from recycled material!

With a total goal of $1,319, funds will be used to kickstart production and fully launch the product. Early backers have until December 7, 2020, to pledge a minimum of PLN 199 to secure their own camera strap, which is expected to ship on spring 2021. If you want to get a great present for Christmas you can get your hand on one the limited straps for PLN 229 that will ship just after the campagin ends.
