Dahan Maurice, an inventor and engineer based in Paris, France, has announced an exciting new crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter for his new reusable mask. The product, titled “DMask,” is a transparent mask that features a sophisticated double filtration system to supply premier protection from the novel Coronavirus pandemic. DMask has undergone multiple tests to guarantee it is a successful wearable piece of protection, and its functionality remains as efficient as other conventional masks currently available on the market.
Maurice was inspired to create a transparent filtered mask during the quarantine that occurred in early 2020. He dreamt of a mask that allowed others to see the expression of its wearer — while still remaining functional and protective — and got to work creating prototypes with a hot forming machine at home. As a result, DMask was born: a mask that continually filters air from all directions while still revealing the beautiful face underneath.
With a total goal of $25,324, funds gathered through the campaign will be used to cover industrialized production, promotion, shipping costs and other fees. Should the fund goal be met by its deadline of January 7, 2021, early backers can expect to receive their very own Dmask by January 2021 for as little as a €33 pledge.
