The Novell Wedding Band Blog, which publishes articles about travel, wedding advice and almost anything related to wedding planning, is looking for guest bloggers. Writers should keep in mind that visitors to the Novell Wedding Band Blog are usually right in the middle of their wedding planning process. Articles about travel are currently among its most popular.
Requirements to Be a Guest Blogger
Candidates to be one of Novell’s guest bloggers should be able to communicate well in writing. Submissions should be at least 300 words long (with no restrictions to overall content length), feature no more than two links and be easy to read. Content must be original and not have appeared anywhere else. Contributors will receive writing credit. Images related to your guest blog post should also be included.
Acceptable guest blogger subjects include (but are not necessarily limited to):
• Travel destinations (general)
• Honeymoon suggestions
• Wedding planning advice
• Wedding dresses and tuxedos
• General wedding-related advice
• “How to” articles (related to wedding planning)
• Catering recipes, advice or suggestions
• Gadgets or technology utilized during a wedding ceremony or reception
• Wedding music
• Almost anything related to wedding details – lighting, photography, etiquette, gifts, etc.
• For active blog owners, a regular round-up of your blog’s posts would be welcome
There will be no limit to the number of articles an author may submit or have published. The Novell Wedding Band blog is looking to establish strong relationships with other wedding or travel industry professionals. If you wish to be considered, please fill out our editorial submission form.
Content That Will Not Be Considered
Since Novell Design Studio (the Novell Wedding Band blog’s parent company) is a bridal jewelry company, submissions related to jewelry of any kind cannot be accepted. Incomplete or poorly written content will not be considered as well. Stories should have a strong wedding-related element. Any content that has be copied from another source or has appeared elsewhere cannot be published. Affiliate links, SPAM or links that are redirected to irrelevant content will be rendered inactive. The Novell Wedding Band blog will reserve the right to delete any story for any reason without notice. They also reserve the right to make edits and add to submitted content in a reasonable manner (e.g. add an introduction, caption or title to picture).
Latest Guest Blog Post Success Stories
Since being published on July 19th, 2018, travel article Coast Honeymoon Idea – Little Creek Casino Resort has been viewed over 7,000 times. Another travel-related post Coastal Mendocino – California’s Secret Wedding Wonderland has been read over 6,000 times since August 2. From January 1st to September 1st in 2018, the Novell Wedding Band Blog averaged over 3,300 visitors per month – all from organic sources. Traffic recently increased to over 9,000 visitors just for the month of August. From August 1st to September 18th, there have been over 21,000 page views.
Accepted articles will be also featured on Novell’s new Twitter account (2,000 followers and growing), Facebook (15,000 LIKEs) and Pinterest (20,000 views per month). In exchange for a guest post, Novell does ask that all content be linked to from the author’s or organization’s social media accounts.
