Born in the generational Los Angeles street culture a 19-year-old father seeks a better life in the midst of a turf war. Nineteen Summers is a powerful dramatic feature film. Film total running time is 1:54.

The movie stars veteran big screen actors Terri Abney of Triple 9, Loving and Elise Neal from the Academy Award winning film Hustle and Flow. Introducing newcomer Emonjay Brown an American 19-year-old actor. The film is written and directed by famed indie-director Rod S. Scott known for the Freeway Rick Ross story “100 Kilos”.

Nineteen Summers (EBK) set to be in theaters early 2020. This urban drama, is in the post-production stages, with a full-time fledged passion to developing and promoting a dramatic genre, with original music and musical composers from the inner-city of Los Angeles, the movie is produced by Rod S. Scott along with an ensemble of talented Black women producers Christiana Cross and Bailey Brown, the team has set a goal to develop further film productions including inner-city Black youths from the neighborhood as music artist, producers, and executive contributors. The film will become a new symbol for many persons and will inspire the present community and coming generations.

Director Rod S. Scott has announced that it’s important to support “Nineteen Summers” as it’s in the running for an academy award in upcoming festivals. The film is inspiring, and the actors, producers have illustrated their firm belief in this independent movie.

While announcing the completion of this movie, Director Rod S. Scott wrote “This motion picture is beneficial to young black fathers around the country like the 19-year-old character portrayed in the story. Who is DeAndre Hood? DeAndre hood is every young man born and raised in the Los Angeles affiliated street-culture that has been emulated & glorified through-out the nation in places like New York, Oklahoma and on Social Media.” Moreover, this film is produced outside of the major film studio system and we are welcoming good people all around to support this movie when it hits the theaters and other major platforms in early 2020.
