Famous theme food-delivery restaurant GarfieldEATS has created an app so its customers won’t miss out on the full Garfield experience during the COVID-19 pandemic.
And the company is offering key workers 50% discount on certain dishes and providing meals for the homeless, in their efforts to help support the crisis.
The GarfieldEATS app allows diners to immerse themselves in everything Garfield with a special TV channel, games, the option to unlock special offers and of course – ordering food to pick up at the company’s cash less restaurants, or have it delivered to their door.
Food on the menu includes a Farm2Plate lasagna, a Garfield shaped pizza, Garfield shaped dark chocolate bars and the Garficcino coffee.
The app has been launched in Canada after it was trialed in Dubai for a year with great success.
Garfield creator Jim Davis has given his stamp of approval for the app. He said it was a fantastic way to combine great food, fun modern technology and the wonderful Garfield brand.
The GarfieldEATS restaurant is offering doctors and nurses who have been working tirelessly through this pandemic free Garficcino coffee and 50% off the Farm2Plate lasagna and other drinks as part of their ‘Liz Cares’ program. They have also created some special branded merchandise.
On top of that, the GarfieldEATS team has partnered with the Youth without Shelter program to provide hundreds of free lasangas for young homeless people every week.
GarfieldEATS was the first entergaging restaurant app to be launched in the in the world – designed to be both entertaining and engaging, as well as being able to order your food.

GarfieldEATS has taken the brand to the next level, educating children in some Garfield’s favourite passions – the environment and eating healthily from farm sourced produce.
The famous cat explains to children how the GarfieldEATS restaurant and takeaway uses environmentally friendly packaging that can be re-used, and how it is focused on locally sourced farm to plate food for its customers. And they guarantee no GMOs, no preservatives, no hormones and no fertilizers.
The company is a pick-up and delivery style eatery. Customers order their food by phone or on the app. It has branches in London, Ontario and Toronto. The team aims to open 200 restaurants by 2025.
