New Release Shares a Fresh Look at the True Meaning of Christmas

Enumclaw, Wash. – While Christmas is a time of celebration for many, others experience stress, anxiety, and loneliness. “Christmas is normally a joyous and happy occasion for all,” says speaker and coach Jennifer Senne, “but unfortunately as pain and personal struggles come into our lives we sometimes give up, isolate ourselves, and lose the true meaning of Christmas.”

Senne, is the author of a new release, Believe (Redemption Press 2017), that presents the message of Christmas through the eyes of Isaac, a 13-year-old boy. She says, “God uses ordinary people — a child — to show He cares and loves us. All we need to do is to have faith and believe.”

The Guam-based entrepreneur and teacher for the John Maxwell Team, shows the readers the true meaning of Christmas through the eyes of Isaac as he relates his story about the best Christmas gift he had ever received. Senne, who visited school campuses as part of the John Maxwell Global Youth Initiative, teaching youth to become better future leaders, says, “This book is not about material gifts you can give or receive, but a gift that is truly valuable in a person’s life.”

Inspired to write this book because of her own personal struggles and questions about why things happened to her, Jennifer Senne says, “Writing this book made me realize that we need to have a childlike faith in order to see the bigger picture.” Her hope is that the book will inspire readers to “look around, care, and share the blessings that God has given us. Believing is a powerful tool that can change our lives.”
