Big Thumb Travel & Tours boasts new and improved car rental service in Kuala Lumpur. Tourists and locals can now plan trips with i1RentCar who offers car rentals, pick-up and drop-off delivery, and additional services.
Clients can choose from 15 car models from makers such as Honda, Toyota, Nissan, Proton, and Perodua. Passenger capacity and car space differ for rentals with sedan types allowing a maximum of 5 passengers while the mini-van types carrying up to 7 passengers.
Daily rates for their cars range from RM 90 to RM 300. The company also offers 3-day, weekly, and monthly rates for their vehicles.
All cars are insured with standard transport insurance in the country. Renters also have the option to ask for a Collision Damage Waiver which removes third party claim on injuries and damages in the event of a road collision.
Cars can come with an additional set of travel companion gadgets like the Smart Tag and GPS for easy navigating and a Baby Seat attachment for clients travelling with children. These can be booked together with the car rental reservation.
Payment methods include both cash and credit. All transactions can be completed through their financial partners and it can also be performed using their online payment scheme.
Rental requirements include one capable driver with a Malaysia Driving License or an International Driving License. Tourists must secure a Malaysian social pass for their country’s Drivers license to be considered valid in the country.
Clients can choose from 8 free pick-up locations within the city to start driving their rentals. Renters coming from Petaling Jaya, Damansara, Sunway Pyramid, Subang Jaya and other locations outside KL have to pay additional delivery charges. Each location has its own corresponding pick-up and drop-off rate.
