NeuroMotor Training LLC Announces Strategic Leadership Expansion with Appointment of New CEO, Chad Merryman

NeuroMotor Training LLC, a leader in advanced neurorehabilitation and functional movement therapy, today announced a major milestone in its growth trajectory with the appointment of seasoned executive Chad Merryman as Chief Executive Officer. This leadership expansion marks a pivotal moment for the organization as it accelerates its mission to deliver cutting-edge, research-backed therapeutic programs to elderly populations worldwide.

Founder and NeuroRehab specialist Karl Sterling explained that the decision to bring in a new CEO stemmed from a clear, strategic shift in the company’s evolution. “My best work happens in the clinical setting. I am a content creator using unique tools and therapies to help improve the quality of life for our patients,” Sterling said. “It was necessary to bring in Chad as CEO because he has the skills, experience, and vision to grow NeuroMotor Training in ways that far exceed the abilities of myself or anyone on my team.”

Merryman brings over two decades of executive leadership, including full P&L responsibility and a track record of leading large-scale commercial organizations. Most notably, as Chief Commercial Officer at Watlow Electric Manufacturing Company, he drove the company’s core markets business unit to more than $800 million in revenue—achieving a 56% sales increase and a 10‑point EBITDA improvement within two years. His arrival signals an aggressive and strategically guided phase of expansion.

With Merryman’s leadership, NeuroMotor Training’s clinical teams will have even greater freedom to advance the research and innovation that sets the company apart. “More than anything, it allows myself and my clinical staff to continue doing more and more research with our Director of Science, Dr. Marcelo Bigliassi at Florida International University,” Sterling said. “This research is imperative as we remain committed to creating the most practical and effective therapeutic and programming interventions that elicit the best results for our patients.”

Merryman’s appointment also aligns with an ambitious global expansion plan already in motion. The company is preparing to scale across North America, Mexico, South America, Europe, and the Middle East—while continuously integrating new technologies that enhance clinical outcomes and client experience. “Yes and yes,” Sterling added. “We will always seek out innovations that further the benefits of what we do.”

What excites Sterling most about Merryman’s background is his leadership philosophy. “Chad is a true visionary who understands our work and has a mission to grow it. He is also of the ‘PEOPLE FIRST’ mindset. When we put people first, success will follow for everyone.”

For Sterling, passing the torch represents not only a professional milestone but an emotional turning point. “Honestly, this is huge. It is the most liberating feeling I have ever had. Now, I get to move back into laboratory mode full time. This is what I am meant to do.”

Sterling emphasized that every team member brings a specialized strength to the organization, and Merryman fills the final strategic gap—positioning NeuroMotor Training for its next era of impact. “Fasten your seat belts, everyone! It won’t be long before we are in your city. It’s going to be one heck of an amazing ride.”
