INDIANAPOLIS, IN – October 31, 2025 – Mobility Indy, a local provider of mobility solutions, partnered with the nonprofit organization One Day to Remember to provide a free scooter rental and personal delivery for a young mother battling metastatic lung cancer, allowing her to enjoy a cherished family outing at the Children’s Museum of Indianapolis.
In early October, One Day to Remember reached out to Mobility Indy on behalf of a 34-year-old single mother of two young children, ages six and four. The family’s wish was to spend a day together at the museum, but the mother’s condition required a mobility scooter to make the trip possible. The request was for a Saturday, a day the Mobility Indy showroom is typically closed.
Instead of declining the request, Mobility Indy owners Stoddard and Kelly Worman personally rearranged their schedules to facilitate the donation. They delivered the scooter to the family at the Children’s Museum on Saturday, October 11th, and returned to pick it up after the family’s day was complete, ensuring the experience was seamless and stress-free.
“We believe in saying yes. It’s that simple,” said Stoddard Worman, co-owner of Mobility Indy. “When you’re in a position to help someone, you just do it. Our business isn’t just about the products; it’s about giving people the opportunity to live their lives. Being able to give this family a day of joy and normalcy is a huge reminder of why we do what we do. We take a lot of pride in that, and whenever we can give back through our time, services, or products, we will always strive to say yes.”
