Metallica has limited their venues to smaller locations since 2009, and seem to be looking forward to undertaking larger venues for their blockbuster tour.
“Doing a stadium run seemed like the perfect thing on the back of how well this record has been received and all the good will that’s out there in Metallica’s world right now”, drummer Lars Ulrich told Rolling Stone recently. Tickets for the 2017 “WorldWired” Tour will be up for sale at 10:00 am local time on Friday, February 17th.
