Jul 14, 2021 – For those that have heard about, or are fans of ‘Tak3’, the stories of their names, upbringing, journeys, and lifestyle have been elusive. More so for those that haven’t even heard of them at all. You might not know the name right off the bat but the group has always been about the bigger picture.
TAK3 is a group of individuals based out of Little Rock Arkansas who creates imagery presenting them in stories. Members of TAK3 include W.A.T, aka the Hook King, he provides the best hooks and best melodies in the city, also does all the mixing and mastering for all the songs. B.Laster is the voice of TAK3 and always provides the perfect tone and energy for each song he is a part of, also is behind all editing for TAK3 videos. The box is the manager and right-hand man for TAK3, he handles all the behind the scene things for the group and also is the best hype man in the city.
TAK3 best displays this action through their music and the genre they present is R&B with a Trapsoul feel. In the future, they would like to Expand further than just music by venturing on many more storytelling platforms. With music being their best suit they hope that you take the time to reflect on the meanings and stories behind the lyrics by using your critical thinking to put the pieces of the puzzle together. Some songs are more fun and less story-based but there is always substance from anything they drop whether it’s just as simple as a love message or a heartbreak.
