Buena Park, CA – California will soon host an online fashion store that aims to make a positive difference to the lives of children in foster care. Elizabeth Herrero has launched a Kickstarter campaign for PARVATI, an online store for organic, premium clothing for women, to be launched in September 2017, which will donate a percentage of its profits to foster care organizations.

PARVATI is borne out of Elizabeth’s personal life experiences in foster care, which led her to conceive of fashion as not merely a vehicle of personal, artistic or emotional expression, but also a way to bring about meaningful change in the world. The organic Tees sold at PARVATI will see the profits go to organizations that advocate for children in foster care.

Always on the hunt for a good quality T-shirt, Elizabeth has re-created her love for versatile and eco-friendly clothing in the form of chic tops that are an essential in any wardrobe. On sale will be creatively styled garments such as the “Luna” round neck tee, “Bella” v-neck tee, “Chloe” racer back tank top, “Zoe” sleeveless hoodie, and “Autumn” long sleeve tee.

Elizabeth was 15 when she was placed in foster care and moved into a loving and caring family. This transformative experience led her to pay it forward and help other children in foster care. After researching local organizations, she has connected with “Together We Rise”, which runs a program for donating duffel bags to foster care kids.

Armed with a pen, paper and vision, Elizabeth is working round the clock to bring PARVATI online, in collaboration with local manufacturers. The Kickstarter campaign for PARVATI is now accepting pledges with various perks and goodies, and funding will also enable production to begin immediately.
