The self-braking system on the new Magline Glyde hand trucks greatly improves traction and control on stairways. Innovative tread crawlers can be lowered into place behind the main wheels to allow the truck to contact multiple stairs at once. The tread crawlers are easy to lower with a single hand motion and allow the employee to maintain control of the hand truck. Once the stairway is navigated, the tread crawlers are just as easy to retract for normal operation.
Moving barrels or kegs of beverages down stairs is a challenge for any employee since it requires diligent work and causes strain to the arms and back. Magline used groundbreaking technology to develop the Magline Glyde hand truck to help solve these problems and make it easier and safer for employees to move loads on stairways.
