May 21, 2019 – New York – Filmmaker and actress Luna Antonia Arboleda is a rising star in the entertainment world. She is currently promoting her new short film entitled She Moves Me. The production is one that she has written, produced, and starred in.
Arboleda is a native of Germany and former resident of London who recently moved to New York to study acting at the New York School for Drama. She has been working as an actress for the past seven years. She has also worked with the Wooster Group, an experimental theater in New York that was formed by actors Willem Dafoe and Frances McDormand.
Right now, she is shooting a feature film with the prominent Mexican director Michel Franco. She has been working on the film Lo Que Algunos Soñaron in Mexico City and is expected to appear at the Cannes Film Festival next year.
The new short film She Moves Me is heavily inspired by Jill Soloway’s television show based on the Chris Kraus book I Love Dick. After watching Soloway’s impressive work on her show, Arboleda was inspired to produce a short film that is inspired by her great forms of work. Her work was designed with an emphasis on highlighting many things of note surrounding her attitude and the unique style she puts into her work.
The most important message of She Moves Me is that it is more than a love letter to the art form. It is also a love letter to the self in appreciation of the hard work she has completed in her life and where she has gone to make her work so outstanding. She is out to prove to the world that she has a strong appreciation for her work and the many women who have taught her about how to be positive about herself and the many forms of work that she is looking to put in.
