December 27, 2016 – Few, if any other things is as powerful a motivator as one’s recount of a journey towards self-transformation.

With that in mind, Mrs. Jane Zarse took the brave decision to chronicle her life’s story, in a candid and heartwarming recount of how her struggles lead her to get in touch with her spirituality, and foster a deep connection with God.

Life appeared to be easy for Mrs. Zarse, as she grew up in an affluent family in Lake Forest, Illinois. The student of a prestigious academy, who rolled into school each day with pride, driving the latest Audi model, Mrs. Zarse soon discovered a love of boys – and the bottle.

Mrs. Zarse admits that alcohol became her crutch, and lead her through her tumultuous university years at Boston College; her foray into acting, and, later, her career as a high-volume trader at Chicago’s Options Exchange.

Unbeknownst to her, the key theme of her life had been a lack of compassion for others – and it took Mrs. Zarse many years before she realized so.

It wasn’t until her divorce from her husband, and after her mother suffered a fatal heart attack, that Mrs. Zarse experienced what can best be described as an epiphany: after initially falling into a downward spiral, she decided to seek professional help.

Upon admitting that she failed to love herself, Mrs. Zarse vowed to live her life with a purpose, nurturing her spiritual side and getting closer to God.

“No matter how much you have sinned, or lost yourself, it can be done” said Mrs. Zarse. “My excesses show that anyone has the power to redeem themselves, so long as they admit their faults and open their hearts to receive God’s love. Through my book, I want to demonstrate that, while the path is not an easy one, reaching a higher plane of spirituality is well worth the effort and wait.”
