The Celebrating Life, Celebrating YOU!! tour kicked off in Chicago, Illinois on December 15, 2020, with the train going across the nation to empower as many women as possible to take charge of their mental health. The virtual tour is produced by ConnectingYOUto, a public relations firm founded by publicist, Lisa George. It features speakers from all walks of life sharing their experiences and teaching participants how to overcome health challenges, particularly during these trying times.

Mental health problems remain one of the biggest issues faced by men and women across the globe. However, studies have revealed that women are more prone to suffering from mental health issues than men. The ravaging COVID-19 pandemic has worsened the situation, with a recent report from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) stating that the crisis has been associated with mental health challenges related to the morbidity and mortality caused by the disease and to mitigation activities. Consequently, Lisa George is looking to change this disheartening narrative, with the train making the first stop in Chicago, featuring the city’s very own comedian and actress, Vanessa Fraction.
The tour aims to empower females to be advocates for their self-care and love, which includes making their mental health more of a priority. Celebrating Life, Celebrating YOU!! also seeks to connect participants with the needed resources to achieve this goal. The tour is particularly timely, considering the effect of the pandemic, especially on women.
The second stop of the free motivational virtual tour was also in Chicago, featuring members of over 36 agencies. Celebrating Life, Celebrating YOU!! will have the likes of Gissele Donovan, a motivational speaker and entrepreneur and Taneisha Ramsey, two-time best-selling author, transformational speaker, and entrepreneur speak to participants. Other Certified Les Brown Motivational Speakers at the event are Sandra Chaney, seven-time best-selling author, and certified empowerment coach, Kelly Casey, fitness instructor and entrepreneur, and the uplifting, Lisa George.
