Gentleman Label is pleased to announce that the company has signed a partnership with the distinguished charitable foundation, Together We Rise. A men’s clothing brand with a difference, Gentleman Label will now donate five percent of their sale to Together We Rise as a result of the partnership.
Their reasoning behind this is that they believe that a man should be able to care for himself, however, it is also his duty to give back to give back to those less fortunate, especially America’s Youth. Accouring to one of their owners Peter Fedorov “A man must lead by example, and we coud not be more proud to partner with a charity that helps forster children. I have a ton of respect for people who have gone through foster care, I like to view myself as a self mademan, but I can’t image going through anything like that. We would like to help in any way we can. I am also super excited to be partnered with Together We Rise. They are a young company like us, and I absoluty loved the energy of the whole team working there. You can really tell that they are passionate about what they are doing, we are pround to support them.”
Together We Rise is a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization and was founded by Danny Mendoza after he found out that his 9 year-old cousin was living in a car. After telling others about his vision, he was inspired by encouragement from friends and colleagues to use his ambition to help others. From that came, Together We Rise.
Gentleman Label will support two different charity programs through Together We Rise. The first one being the Family Fellowship program which provides five years of academic financial support for youth in foster care. Together We Rise invests up to $90,000 per student, and this covers the cost of tuition, room, and board. A wide range of additional services are also provided for the emotional, social and career development of the foster youth.
The second Together We Rise program supported by Gentleman Label is the Sweet Cases program. In general, the Department of Children and Family Service provides just two trash bags when foster youth are removed from their parents’ home. Under the We Rise program, Together We Rise provides foster youth with a duffel bag to carry their personal belongings along with their very own Teddy Bear, a Personal Hygiene Kit, Blanket, and other personal care items.
Expressing delight about the partnership with Together We Rise, a senior spokesperson from Gentleman Label stated, “We have always been a great admirer of Together We Rise for the commendable things they do for the foster youth of America. It is a great pleasure for us to lend a helping hand to them.”
