Artists are easily some of the most underappreciated group of people despite being also one of the most entertaining. Together with producers and promoters, they put so much effort in giving the masses exactly what they want yet the response isn’t always positive. The great thing is that most of them don’t give up and they eventually make it. 

Fascination 10 is a collaborative project that is more of a game than a task. Before the workshops are prepared and events like dance parties organized, this game starts online. The one thing that anyone is guaranteed of being exciting is the social encounter they get to create themselves. This project is by an art and culture enthusiast, Christian Ndela, whose main aim is to give other artists an invaluable platform to promote their brand. Even though the whole planning process is exhausting, his experience in staging comes in handy but the financial burden can be heavy.

The rules of fascination 10 are pretty simple; the first step is to register on their website. After registration, one can then choose an artist that they feel would best suit them by filling in various parameters. This includes picking their gender, preferred cool of clothing that the artists should wear and the specific time and date (August 2-4). One is also expected to choose a song which the DJ will play so as to recognize you.

The most exciting thing, however, is that the chosen artist sends 10 candidates, who are one’s potential matches from the parameters they filled in, after the event. One of the major challenges that this collaborative artists project faces is lack of manpower. All funds from this Kickstarter campaign will be used to hire much needed expertise. Life shouldn’t always be serious. When the opportunity to have fun arises, it should be seized and one way of doing that is by funding artistic projects.
