La Fuori Debuts Its New Vietnamese-Inspired Collection

La Fuori, “Stories of Sapa” – December 2020 Collection
La Fuori sets the bar for sustainable clothing with the debut of their new Vietnamese-inspired collection, Stories of Sapa.

Los Angeles, CA – Là Fuori is visualized to create clothing and items that intertwine the connection of the community with the artisan hands who are the “creators of wonder.” As nomadic explorers of embroideries and fabrics, the focus is on organic and sustainable clothing, aiming to create a community committed to enhancing and handcrafting clothing pieces of fine quality and sustainability.

Vidur Adlakha is a lover of the arts and a designer. In childhood, his fascination with his mother’s fabrics sparked his curiosity about their formation, representation, and background. Beginning his career by working with haute-couture designers, Adlaka discovered his adoration for embroidery and fine fabrics. His evolvement in business led him to the path of creation and exploration. The integration of his knowledge is portrayed in what we know as Là Fuori today.

Riccardo Benedini’s passion lies in architecture and ancient artifacts. As an architecture enthusiast, he was involved in restoring ancient palaces and buildings throughout Venice, Italy. Living on his yacht for two years, he sailed the world and learned that travel was not only by boat or plane but also through the eyes of other travelers. Inspired by the encounters during his expeditions Benedini realized story-telling through cultures and traditions was his major attraction. In Shanghai, he crossed paths with Adlakha, and it was then Benedini realized his opportunity to be a part of Là Fuori.

The mission of Là Fuori is to connect the world in a mutual appreciation of travel and aesthetics. To create a message of wearing responsibly, the premium lifestyle brand is committed to enhancing lives by giving importance to naturally sourced and sustainable clothing products. Là Fuori employs local underprivileged women artisans. These women who handcraft each item share inspirational stories while embracing their culture. Persistently so, the label carries an endeavor to empowering women, giving back to rural traditions, safeguarding artisan cultures globally, and staying environmentally conscious.

For Là Fuori, the design approach is a cultural encounter. Inspired by every journey, each collection tells of a different story that “bears a woman’s smile” as “an emblem of inspiration” particularly for those who wear that distinct creation. Their new Vietnamese-inspired collection, named “Stories of Sapa” features the combination of crimson hues and botanical florals, in addition to hand-manufactured luxury silks and laced motifs. Picture monotone flounced dresses to edgy pants and tailored hand-woven jackets. Embodying a young and vivacious vibe, the collection is entirely hand-engineered by the tribal artisan women living in the forests of Sapa.
