Korean Kids\’ Toys brand Startup FUNT to be launched in America

The Korean Startup “AtoyCo. Ltd” is set to launch its own content, FUNT in the American market this coming December. AtoyCo. Ltd. launched FUNT in November 21st on the crowdfunding website Indiegogo. Not long after, they were able to collect 160% of the initial target fund paving the road for a very successful beginning for the company. FUNT is a letter-assemble type toy where letters in Korean or in the Germanic alphabet are assembled together, they become words. 

 

They developed the BTCD (Blockable Typo Convergence Design) technology themselves in both Korean and English where the words can be expressed in 2D or 3D. Animation AR apps and Playbooks are included to fully enjoy the FUNT contents Indiegogo. AtoyCo. Ltd. has been shaping the FUNT brand with “make your play” motto. In December 2017 they were awarded for best design by the Korea Design Promotion Agency while in 2018, they were named a promising company in design & innovation and also received the Superior Toy award at the Korea Toy Awards. They’ve come a long way from winning the gold prize from the Korea Tourism memorabilia competition to becoming a global brand. AtoyCo. Ltd.’s FUNT can be found on the American crowdfunding site Indiegogo. This coming December will be the official launch of the product in America. 

 

AtoyCo. Ltd. CEO Kim Hyung Ki said: “We are looking into entering Hong Kong, Japan and then the global market”. He further added, “Thanks to the successful start on the Indiegogo funding results, the expectations are high for the brand to settle down in the American market.”
