The inspection of steel wire ropes should focus on observing conditions such as broken wires, wear, kinks, and rust. At the same time, attention should also be paid to whether the safety limiter of the steel wire rope in the drum is effective. Whether the steel wire rope pressure plate on the drum is tightly pressed and whether the number of pressure plates is appropriate.
The inspection of the pulley focuses on whether the wear at the bottom of the groove exceeds the standard and whether there are cracks in the cast iron pulley. Especially for the balance wheel of the lifting mechanism pulley group, it is easy to overlook its non action under normal circumstances. Therefore, before installation, it is necessary to check its rotational flexibility to avoid increasing the degree of danger.
4. Electrical system inspection
Regarding the electrical part of the European bridge crane, in addition to checking whether each limit switch is sensitive and reliable, it is also necessary to check whether the motor, bell, and wires are safe and reliable, and whether the signal lights are in good condition.
