The Organic Luxe Company introduced Ke’Lonn Darnell, a rising star in the Dallas, TX rap scene, with the release of his debut album, titled Deposit$. The album is available on Spotify, Apple Music and Amazon Music, while the release of music videos for the album tracks’ will come as an short film to be released later this year the 8 song soulful soundtrack has really garnered major attention.
“I’m excited to finally be able to share this body of work with the world,” said Ke’Lonn. “I really enjoyed creating this project Deposit$, it really allowed me to tell my story in a soulful way with passion and energy of some of my favorite classics. My goal was to create a vibe while telling my story and working with Juicy Beatz really elevated and brought my vision to life”.
On the Intro, the very first track of Deposit$, Ke’Lonn explains in his infectious play on words how the album’s title came to be, proclaiming with pride “Deposits/I be in the bank dropping cash off/Had a rough start/But I just have to shake the past off”. Setting the tone of what’s to follow in Deposit$’s remaining seven tracks, the artist shares some heartfelt autobiographical insights that allow fans to relate to his experiences and await to hear more about his evolution as both a person and an artist.
The transition from one track to the next appears to flow naturally, thanks to the melodious sounds and creative content developed by Juicy Beatz, BJ Davis, and Clarence Ray. This makes for the perfect backdrop for Ke’Lonn’s lyrical storytelling. Fresh, contemporary, urban, and, above all, original, all components that describes Deposit$ – from the production, to the tracks themselves; Ke’Lonn’s voice, and his at times unbelievably masterful hooks and verses – compose the picture of an album that was made to leave its mark in critics’ minds and fans’ hearts.
