Julio Gonzalez Honored by Hispanic 100 Foundation with American Legacy of Excellence in Business Award

Engineered Tax Services founder recognized at Night of Distinction Gala during America’s 250th anniversary year.

West Palm Beach, Florida – Julio Gonzalez, founder and CEO of Engineered Tax Services (ETS), received the American Legacy of Excellence in Business award from the Hispanic 100 Foundation at the Night of Distinction Gala held May 20 at the Waldorf Astoria in Washington, D.C. The award honors business figures who have widened access to financial opportunity, created jobs, and contributed to community growth.

The gala took place during the lead-up to America’s 250th anniversary and brought together entrepreneurs, executives, and public-sector figures for an evening centered on legacy, service, and economic contribution. Gonzalez was honored alongside other business and community leaders selected by the Hispanic 100 Foundation for their role in shaping opportunity across the country.

Gonzalez was selected for his 25-year record of helping U.S. companies reduce tax liability and reinvest those savings into expansion. Under his leadership, ETS has grown to 26 offices, served more than 1,000 clients, and produced over 2 billion dollars in tax savings.

The firm specializes in engineering-based tax studies, including cost segregation, energy tax incentives, and research and development tax credits. ETS works with commercial property owners, real estate investors, manufacturers, and operating businesses across multiple sectors.

“Being recognized by the Hispanic 100 Foundation is more than an award. It is a reminder of why we do what we do,” said Gonzalez. “This journey has never been about accolades. It is about creating opportunities, leveling the playing field, and building a legacy that empowers others to win.”

Beyond ETS, Gonzalez has published two books focused on widening access to wealth-building tools. Why Billionaires Love the Tax Code explains how high-net-worth families and businesses apply existing tax law to compound capital. The Grant Equality Blueprint outlines how entrepreneurs and underserved communities can locate and qualify for federal and state grant programs.

Both titles reflect a position Gonzalez has held throughout his career: that tax and grant strategy should not sit behind a wall of complexity, and that small businesses deserve the same planning tools used by larger firms.

The Hispanic 100 Foundation hosts the Night of Distinction Gala to recognize business and community figures whose work has shaped opportunity for the next generation. The 2026 edition carried added weight as a tribute to American legacy and a celebration of the country’s 250th year.

“As the country celebrates its 250th anniversary, I am proud to stand alongside leaders who believe in freedom, opportunity, and the power of hard work,” Gonzalez said. “To my team, our clients, and the community we serve, thank you. This is just the beginning.”
