SOUTHHAMPTON, UK – May 25, 2018 – Singer/Songwriter Jaquie Daniels has announced the upcoming release of her latest EP, Festival. The four-track release will launch on 25 May 2018. The date is intended to coincide with the festival season, a time when people are focused on new music and experiencing the power of the art form.

“This latest release is titled Festival, which is also the title of the first track. It coincides with the festival season, and I hope to capture the hearts and minds of festival goers,” said Daniels of the inspiration for the project.

The EP, which will be available in both CD and digital formats, stays true to her folk music roots, with a focus on songwriting. Daniels has included samples of the lead single, “Festival,” and “Suzyanna Bluesyanna” on her SoundCloud page for preview in anticipation of the EP release. Other tracks from previous releases are also available on her account in full so one can get a feel for her style.

The latest EP will be her sixth release. Other releases include the full-length albums A Brighter Day, Middle England, and Flying High.  All are linked on her website, and available via most digital retailers.

To celebrate the release, Daniels will be including a free wristband with the CD version. The wristband will include a line from the title track, allowing fans to share her writing. Jaquie Daniels is an English singer/songwriter who grew up surrounded by music, as her father played the tuba. Her bio says he was once part of the band that ultimately appeared on the Beatles’ Magical Mystery Tour, a group that sparked her love of music. She can play multiple instruments, and has written and arranged music for the Southampton Folk Orchestra. In addition, she’s written musicals.
