Molecular95, as initiated by Enrique Davis-Mazlum, is an initiative born in Florida out of the need to provide high-grade respiratory protection to essential workers in the fight against the novel Coronavirus.
As Covid-19 continues to prevail, Millions of health care workers—physicians, nurses, technicians, other health care professionals, and hospital support staff, as well as first responders including emergency rescue personnel, law enforcement officers, and others who provide essential services and products—around the world have faced the challenge of providing care for patients with the virus while often ill-equipped and poorly prepared, risking their own lives to save the lives of others. They honor us all with their commitment, dedication, and professionalism; they are the real heroes.
The Molecular95 is geared at creating a million n95 masks which will be donated to these heroes. However, the cost of medical protective equipment (PPE) has increased exponentially. There is also a great shortage of these items, which are required by all workers in the health sector and should be guaranteed.

According to Enrique Davis-Mazlum: “We need your support, promoting this initiative to raise 1.5 million dollars and thus be able to donate one million N95 masks. Once we start producing N95 masks, we will go through the FDA certification process. These masks will be donated to hospitals, fire stations, police departments, shelters, food banks and other institutions (we will post a list on our website).
“With this donation, essential workers like doctors, nurses, firefighters, police, volunteers, and others will continue to do their jobs. As part of our gratitude, we will donate an additional package of five of our N95 masks to the address the donor chooses within the United States, Puerto Rico, Mexico, or Canada. This second package can be for your family, friends, essential workers or themselves (for more details, call or email us at email@example.com)”
According to expert data, COVID-19, it seems, will be around for years, and as such, we’ll need to adapt. This is why the initiative is designed for the long term. After reaching the goal to donate the first 1,000,000 N95 masks made in the USA, the work will continue. The mask production will continue as donations or special requests from hospitals or institutions that require them.
