Former Chairman and CEO of IOA’s Personal and Professional Legacy Are Put on Display

LONGWOOD, FL – April 28, 2020 – To commemorate the life, legacy, and leadership of former chairman and CEO of Insurance Office of America (IOA), John Ritenour, his son and current chairman and CEO of IOA, Heath Ritenour, launched two websites in dedication of his father. The brand-new sites, which highlight John Ritenour’s impact on the insurance industry and Central Florida community, also shed light on his inspiring personal journey.

“When Heath approached me about the websites, I was honored but also a bit apprehensive,” said John. “I never would have thought to dedicate one website, let alone two, to my own story, but Heath helped me understand that these sites aren’t just about us — they’re about IOA, its history, and its future.”

Browsing, visitors can learn all about Ritenour’s lifelong pursuit of success through hard work, collaboration, and innovation. The site also offers a detailed look at how Ritenour and his wife Valli co-founded and grew the Longwood-based insurance agency, IOA, into the global brokerage it is today., details Ritenour’s personal journey, family life, and involvement within the central Florida community. The site also explains how Ritenour’s role within IOA and legacy of leadership pioneered a new way to operate an agency in the insurance industry.
