Indian digital Service based aggregator platform Fabrito announces bigger price limit for sellers

Mar 13, 2018 – Fabrito, one of India’s leading service based market place has announced that the upper price limit for the services available on Fabrito has been increased from 50,000 INR (770 USD) to 200,000 INR(3080 USD) USD. The minimum price at which the services can be sold on Fabrito remains the same at 300 INR(4.7 USD).

The issue was raised by various sellers registered on the platform. Some thought that the earlier upper limit on the price was a bit restrictive as various high end services available on the platform cannot be provided in that price range especially in the category Website and App development. Though there are services that are available at a price as low as 4.7 USD, many digital services nowadays cost much more.

According to latest reports by Paypal, India is the largest market for Freelancers and the trend is expected to grow in the future as well. Understanding this trend, Paypal recently announced that it will start providing payment services in India pretty soon in order to facilitate the growth of freelance market. Until now, one could only accept money via Paypal from International clients after the restriction placed by the RBI or Reserve Bank of India few years earlier. Fabrito is also planning to incorporate Paypal in the future. Currently it has tied up with Indian Payment gateway service provider Payumoney.
