Minority woman-owned educational enhancement service provider, iEDAPTS, named as one of the recipients of the $220,000 grant by NC IDEA FOUNDATION
The works of iEDAPTS, a Charlotte-based provider of innovative educational enhancement services have not gone unnoticed as the company was recently recognized by NC IDEA, a private foundation that is poised with supporting entrepreneurial ambition and economic empowerment in North Carolina. iEDAPTS was selected as one of the twenty-two North Carolina startups that received $220,000 in the seventh NC IDEA MICRO grant cycle.
“With such a strong group of applicants, this is the most grant recipients we have awarded in one cycle,” said Thom Ruhe, President and CEO of NC IDEA. “This cycle drew a record number of applications, particularly from our rural communities. We are seeing a clear need from all parts of the state for funding and support to help these companies grow,” Ruhe added.
