Independent songwriter and rapper Trenton P from St. Louis, Missouri has recently launched a fundraising campaign on Kickstarter to raise funds to fuel the second phase of his musical career. Trenton took the initiative to raise the funds he believes are necessary to keep his artistic vision and unique style of music distinct, which he believes is only possible if he remains an independent artist, to keep his music uninfluenced by the pressures of investors or recording labels. Trenton needs funding to take his unique style to the next level and cover the cost of production of an independent rap music album, music videos and a tour, he has launched a crowdfunding campaign on KickStarter with a funding goal of at least $20,000 USD to be raised by Wed, Apr 20, 2016.
Trenton P has been working on his musical career for the past 4 years, he has over 40 songs and over 15 music videos to his credit, over the years he has earned countless worldwide fans, charted Nationwide on the Radio, and have headlined sold out shows; however he has had to pay for all of this through his own pocket. Fortunately, he is not the one to shy away from hard work and putting in the extra effort to accomplish his dream and stay true to his art.
“People really like the music I have made so far. I have finally found myself as an artist and this Blacklist album will Prove that to the world. So I need to keep moving forward with my career, but to take it to the next level I’m going to need assistance. To evolve and grow as an artist, everything needs to be elevated.” Trenton said of his future plans.
The funds raised would allow him to maintain full artistic control over his work and is looking for support from the online crowd. His crowdfunding project offers various pledge options to suit different preferences. A variety of different rewards and perks are also being offered to prize the generosity of those who support the campaign and the project through their monetary contributions.
