Foremost California Christian Private University, Hope International University, is delighted to announce an expansive increase of student enrollment in two of its programs: the school graduate program and the Master of Education degree program.
There’s no question about it, 2020 has been a challenging time for everyone. In the face of unprecedented challenges, Hope International University is experiencing unprecedented increases in student enrollment. Fall Enrollment in the School’s Graduate Programs is at an all-time high, and Online Undergraduate enrollment has jumped significantly as well.
“We are thrilled to announce that our enrollment in graduate programs is at 542 this fall, an all-time high, exceeding last fall’s numbers by more than 8%. Enrollment in our online undergraduate programs is up as well, 10% higher than a year ago”, said Teresa Smith, Vice President for Enrollment. “The pandemic has changed recruitment significantly, requiring our Admissions team to be very creative in coming up with innovative, effective new methods. I’m very proud of what we’ve been able to accomplish together.”
The fastest-growing HIU graduate program is the Masters in Counseling Psychology Program. Hope International University’s 61-unit Master of Science in Counseling (MSC) program is designed to prepare students for a career as Licensed Professional Clinical Counselors (LPCC). “Professional clinical counseling” includes conducting assessments for the purpose of establishing counseling goals and objectives to empower individuals to deal adequately with life situations, reduce stress, experience growth, change behavior, and make well-informed rational decisions.
The other growing HIU graduate program is the Master of Education degree program. The Master of Education Degree program is designed for educators seeking a master’s degree, which may apply to a variety of classroom and support positions in schools, colleges, and other educational institutions. The program primarily applies to P-12 teachers who already possess their teaching credential(s) and are seeking cutting-edge knowledge or advancement in their school or school district.
