Nashville, Tennessee – January 26th, 2024 – Promising country-pop sensation Casey Savage is kicking off 2024 with a bang! This talented Aussie lass just dropped her debut single, “Nashville Come And Get Me”, on December 16th, and it’s already creating major waves across Nashville and beyond.
“I wrote ‘Nashville Come And Get Me’ as a love letter to the city and the country music scene I’ve dreamed about breaking into since I was a little girl,” shares Casey. “The lyrics talk about some of my biggest idols like Miranda Lambert, Dolly Parton, and Luke Combs and all the iconic Nashville spots I’d love to play someday, like the Grand Ole Opry stage. It’s me saying, ‘Hey Nashville, here I am!'”
Casey’s unconventional path to country stardom began with a leap of faith. After penning her smash single, she sent a demo off to a prominent Nashville studio behind hits from Taylor Swift and more. Shockingly, they loved what they heard and invited Casey stateside to record professionally.
“I really just took a chance in the dark,” Casey admits. “I never imagined the producers would even listen to my song, let alone ask me to come to record it! It was a total pinch-me moment.”
Despite having no industry traction, Casey felt an irresistible call to Nashville since childhood. “I’ve been drawn to the city and country genre my entire life,” she explains. “Whenever I visit Nashville, I feel this profound sense that it’s where I’m meant to be. The creative energy there just speaks to my soul.”
Luckily, Casey’s debut single taps right into that kinetic Nashville sound. With shimmery acoustic guitars, bold fiddle riffs and Casey’s arena-ready vocals, “Nashville Come And Get Me” is readymade for radio playlists everywhere.
“I wanted a really upbeat, anthemic tune you could crank with the windows down,” Casey explains. “The lyrics speak to my journey, but the vibe is all sassy Nashville fun.”
Casey plans to spend significant time in Nashville over the next year recording, shooting videos, playing shows, and networking. She believes persistence and showing up are key to succeeding in country music.
“You have to immerse yourself in the Nashville scene,” Casey asserts. “I’m willing to put in the hard yards of hustling, playing small gigs, introducing myself. That’s how you get your foot in the door. I’ll be shaking hands and talking to anyone who will listen!”
Her invested fanbase is already eating up everything about the single – especially its accompanying music video, which is dropping soon. “The reaction to my first single really lit that fire under me to keep the momentum going! My fans are so supportive and inspiring,” She said. “I really want to release more music this year that resonates with them.”
With lucky breaks and a tenacious drive fueling her fantasies, Casey has a feeling she’ll realize every last Nashville dream sooner than later.
“At the end of the day, I just want my music to make people happy and inspire them to chase their passions, too,” says Casey. “Nashville’s calling my name, so watch out – I’ll be on that Opry stage someday!”
