Actor Bruce Davis is also known for his roles in ‘All Eyes on Me’, ‘Walker’, ‘Rattlesnake’, ‘The Last Defense’, ‘A Country Romance’ TV-Movie, and ‘A Christmas Surprise’.
Bruce Davis is originally from Oklahoma and born on Feb 13, 1963 to Lloyd and Esther (Glover) Davis . His motivation & drive was engraved in him from having strong role models growing up and from his father who has influenced Bruce on his outlook on life and success.
Before acting, Bruce Davis had a taste of real life action & crime! Bruce was an Navy Veteran and a 27+ year police veteran of the Oklahoma City Police Department even reaching ranks as a Police Lieutenant and earning honorable recognitions for being a first responder at the bombing of Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building. His actions were awarded at the Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum.
Bruce Davis started acting professionally in 2004 where he was cast in Soul on Fire as the role of Judas Biggs and performed in many theaters live including: at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC, at the 14th Street Play house (Woodruff Arts Center) in Atlanta GA; the National Black Theater Festival in Winston Salem NC; and the Off Broadway performance at the June Havoc Theater, NY.
He continued acting professionally and studying some of the most famous & legendary acting techniques like the Meisner Technique. Davis also holds a Bachelors of Arts (Psychology) degree from the University of Central Oklahoma

Actor Bruce Davis starred as Officer Reeves in the popular Movie ‘All Eyez on Me’ that was a life story of famous rapper Tupac Shakur. Davis gives us exclusive insider on his role & being on set:
“All Eyez on Me was the first big-budget film I worked on after I retired from the police department and became a full time actor in 2014.
“Most of the All Eyez on Me movie was filmed in Atlanta and I was particularly impressed with how well organized the operation was and the plethora of African Americans involved in the leadership of the project.
“I was treated extremely well on set as a principal actor. I actually had a stand-in to prep the scene and when they called for “First Team,” I must admit I felt like royalty. What a wonderful experience it was.
“The Director always encouraged creative expression and ideas and when I worked my scenes with A-List actors: Hill Harper and Danai Gurira it was a joy; they were confident in there skills yet they were down to earth, approachable and helpful to the less experienced actors. It was obvious they wanted everyone to be the best they could be in order to develop the best possible project. I found this attitude to be the norm when working with the majority of well known actors. I’ve tried to maintain this same attitude and develop a positive working relationship with everyone I work with on film projects. Im passionate about this work and I’m continually developing my craft; I’m in this for life; striving to be a great actor.” – Bruce Davis
