Dr. Chinthala is a highly trained and qualified psychiatrist with an expertise in all facets of her work, especially geriatric psychiatry and adult psychiatry. Dr. Chinthala has been in practice for over 11 years and is currently serving patients at Options Behavioral Health System in Indianapolis, Indiana, which she joined in 2014. Furthermore, Dr. Chinthala teaches Fellows in the Geriatric Fellowship Program at Indiana University School of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry.

Dr. Chinthala attended Osmania Medical College in India, her native country, where she graduated with her medical degree in 1994. Upon relocating to the United States, she served both her residency and geriatric fellowship at the Indiana University School of Medicine. Dr. Chinthala holds board certification in psychiatry from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, and additionally maintains professional memberships with the American Psychiatric Association, the Indiana Psychiatric Society, the American Medical Association, the Association for Academic Psychiatry, and the American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin. Dr. Chinthala credits her success to her mom, who was her inspiration, and dedicates her spare time to music, traveling, and reading.
