“Immigration is too complex, and too important to go it alone—or to leave in the hands of a solicitor whose primary specialty is not immigration. With immigration laws in constant flux, a long and growing list of visa and citizenship options, and variety of personal and professional needs that must be meant—you need an immigration expert.” – Dave Vasoodaven of Gulbenkian Andonian Solicitors

While personal immigration needs might be the first thing that comes to mind when speaking of immigration, it is far from the only type of visa that can be obtained. With globalisation of the workforce growing rapidly in every industry, far more London business owners are hiring foreign nationals. In addition, far more foreign companies are opening up secondary offices in the UK—staffing both locals and transferring staff from around the globe. This is just the tip of the iceberg, as student visas, athlete, artist, scientists, and professors continue to require temporary citizenship as they share their specialised skillset to help the local economy thrive.

“We have experienced a dramatic spike for temporary and permanent citizenship in professional organisations from every industry imaginable,” said Fadi Farhat, legal director of Gulbenkian Andonian Solicitors. “We urge companies to speak with a member of our team before foreign recruitment begins. Businesses should also consider the competitive advantages of hiring from the local expat community.”

While the spike in business and student visas is on the rise, with the complex state of global immigration—more families are looking to make the UK their home. There are many paths to immigration and Gulbenkian Andonian Solicitors is dedicated to helping families reunite.

“You or your family member can exponentially increase odds of obtaining citizenship by working with a tenured UK immigration solicitor,” said Fadi Farhat. “Going it alone simply isn’t worth the risk.”
