Guardian Environmental Technologies’ new General Maintenance Socks, Pillows, and Booms incorporating the company’s universal bulk solidifiers provide a high-volume, environmentally friendly, and cost-effective solution to contain spills and absorb non-aggressive liquids.

New Preston, Connecticut – Guardian Environmental Technologies announces a new product group that contains general maintenance socks, pillows, and booms that incorporate their universal bulk solidifiers which provide environmentally sound and cost-effective solutions for the containment and absorption of non-aggressive spills, including oils, coolants, solvents, water, and other liquids.

Designed for use on land or water, these socks, pillows, and booms are manufactured using recycled absorbent natural cellulose fibers, along with proprietary enhancers, that are non-hazardous and also naturally biodegradable. Because of this and the high absorbency rate, these booms, socks, and pillows are ideal for areas with difficult entrance or egress.

With a tear-resistant polyester outer skin, Guardian Environmental Technologies’ new General Maintenance Recycled Cellulose Boom features zinc-plated carbon steel attachment clips and rings for customization and strength. These booms are UV resistant up to 12 months, and meet NFPA 99 standards for static decay.
