Growth of a Young Man by Zaire Christopher Leffall Opens up Conversations on Self-Discovery, Culture, Racism and Heartache from the Perspective of a Young Man

DETROIT – August 12, 2019 – After living through the most devastating experience of his  life, author Zaire Christopher Leffall turned heartbreak and tragedy into artwork in his debut book, Growth of A Young Man. A book of poetry and prose, the book releases nationwide on Aug. 9.

In Growth of a Young Man, the 21 year-old author opens up about the complexities of maturity and the ups and downs that come along with it. Topics like self-discovery, culture, heartbreak and racism are all explored as the author uses colorful, flowing language to explain his experience in these areas and the growth that came from them. Readers will feel and embrace their own experiences as they read each thought provoking verse.

An Oakland, Calif. native, Leffall found poetry at a young age after experiencing the devastating loss of his mother. Only 10 months old when she passed away, Leffall still dealt with the heartache throughout his childhood. He was raised by his father who enrolled him in a therapeutic program for children who lost a parent. It was in this program that his poetry writing flourished.

“I write what people may be too afraid to express,” notes Leffall. “I write what men, women and children hold in their hearts and minds.”

Inspired by his father, an author and entrepreneur himself, the up-and-coming author decided to put his feelings into words and write this book.

Growth of a Young Man is available on Amazon and Kindle. The book is also available online at http://www.youareenoughnow.com
