Green Book Global Partners with Expedia for Black Travel Review Month, Amplifying Black Voices in the Travel Sphere

Green Book Global, the first and only Black travel review site and app, has teamed up with Expedia to announce the highly anticipated Black Travel Review Month. This month-long event, taking place in August, which is also Black-owned business month, aims to empower Black travelers, celebrate their experiences, and bring much-needed representation to the travel community.

Reviews hold tremendous power, and during Black Travel Review Month, Black travelers can candidly express their experiences of “Traveling While Black” on website, IOS App, or Android App. These invaluable reviews cover a wide range of topics, including encounters with racism, recommendations for Black-friendly activities, highlighting of Black-owned businesses, insights on accommodations, safety, and more.

To encourage participation, Green Book Global has partnered with Expedia and is offering a remarkable $6,000 in the form of OneKeyCash™ to Black travelers who submit at least one review during Black Travel Review Month.  Nine lucky winners will have the opportunity to receive $500, $1000, or $2000 in OneKeyCash™ to redeem on eligible bookings across Expedia,, and Vrbo.

Furthermore, in the spirit of Black Travel Review Month, Green Book Global guarantees a reward of $35 to every Black traveler who submits at least six reviews and signs up as a new Passport Member during August. The Passport Membership provides exclusive access to a dynamic community of Black travel enthusiasts and offers attractive benefits like earning up to 4.5% cash back with 15 prominent travel brands including Expedia, full access to a Black Friendly Destination Search Tool, and an exclusive 5% discount code for Expedia, among other exciting rewards.

Black Travel Review Month is an open invitation for Black travelers worldwide to join, share their stories, offer travel tips, and cultivate connections. The initiative welcomes reviews from all corners of the globe but emphasizes cities within the United States, where the experience of “Traveling While Black” can pose unique challenges. By joining in, participants lend their voice to a collective that not only celebrates the Black experience but also shapes the future of travel.
