Giving Gigs Makes An Attempt To Break The GWR Record with “COGIG19”

Popular Facebook Community Group, Giving Gigs, organizes “COGiG19 – LIVE Music Cure” to bring together ‘Most musical acts to perform at a remote music festival’

Giving Gigs is looking to help as many people as possible across the globe to end 2020 on the brightest note after a tumultuous year as the community puts together “COGIG19.” Tagged “The LIVE Music Cure Countdown to 2021,” the virtual music festival is billed to be the Woodstock of this online generation. The event will bring together the most number of musical acts to perform at a remote music festival, ultimately taking a shot at breaking the Guinness World Record.

There is no doubt that 2020 has been one of the most eventful and toughest years in people’s memories, and millions of people worldwide have seemingly found some relief in music. However, many of the acts, especially indie artists who offer succor in such challenging times, do not get the needed exposure to reach a wide audience. Consequently, Giving Gigs is looking to change this narrative with the upcoming showcase of their talent as part of one greater voice.

The once-in-a-pandemic live-stream music festival will run for 19 days from December 13, helping people to end the year on a high and bringing a positive future for 2021 with awesome music. The event will bring together about 500 independent artists and millions of music lovers from different parts of the world with the common goal of standing together for the love of music.

The event is epic and unprecedented in the entertainment world, offering 444 hours of streaming live music in one virtual venue location for a single festival, COGIG19.

The music festival is particularly unique as it will feature independent acts from 100’s of cities across the globe delivering music of different genres, showcasing awesome original music by singer-songwriters, live bands, and local independent artists.

In addition to serenading the audience with great sounds, COGiG19 will also serve as a platform for artists to expand their reach, especially as many of the featured musicians do not have management, social media networks or even funds to get them to the next gig.

The number of acts to perform at “COGIG19 – The Live Music Cure” is increasingly by the day, with over 200 artists already confirmed to be part of the event. Mike Manley and the organizing team for COGIG19 welcome all artists wishing to be part of the event to get in touch as only 25 days until the party kicks off.

Giving Gigs is super excited to bring so many amazing artists who share their hearts and souls through music. Please spread COGIG19 to everyone, and let’s create history together with some pandemic positives with music. Forget life for a moment in time; sit back and enjoy! Happy Days.
