Brooks is a native of Tulsa, OK and has been in the music business since 1984. United Supermarkets Arena was previously known as the United Spirit Arena s a multi-purpose arena which is located on the campus of Texas Tech University in Lubbock. This busy venue opened up in 1999 and it has a seating capacity of approximately 15,000. It is the home arena for the Texas Tech Red Raiders basketball, Texas Tech Lady Raiders basketball and Texas Tech Red Raiders women’s volleyball teams. In addition to being the host arena for some Texas Tech sports teams, this venue has also hosted many A-List performers such as: Taylor Swift, Bon Jovi, George Strait and Paul McCartney.
