NEW ORLEANS, LA – NOLA Funk Fest, the Crescent City’s celebration of authentic New Orleans funk, returns this October for three soulful days of live music, dance, and culture. With three stages, a who’s‑who of local legends and rising stars, and the unmistakable spirit of New Orleans—from second lines to Black Masking Indians—Funk Fest is where the city comes to get their groove on.
October 17-19, 2025 at Spanish Plaza, New Orleans, attendees will experience front‑row energy, dance circles that spark on their own, and food and drink that keep the good times rolling. October’s cooler nights and golden‑hour sunsets set the perfect stage for horn hits, heavy jams, and community joy.
“This festival is built by New Orleans for people who love the real thing,” said Mike Quinlan Festival Producer “From the first brass blast to the last sing‑along, Funk Fest is an invitation to move . . . powered by the artists and culture that made this city famous.”
“New Orleans funk is a living tradition. It’s family. It’s soul,” said Big Chief Juan Pardo, Cultural Director and Board Member “When you hear those drums and see the beadwork shine, you’re not just watching a show . . . you’re part of the story.”
