Forbes Technology Council Member Yoav Kutner of Oro Discusses Value of B2B eCommerce

Yoav Kutner, Co-founder and CEO of Oro, Inc. authored a feature article for Forbes Magazine; the article titled, The Value Of A Minimum Viable Product In B2B E-Commerce, may be read here.

According to Kutner, all too many B2Bs are still overwhelmed by the thought of launching an eCommerce channel. For these companies, understanding the value and use of the minimum viable product (MVP) could allay some of those fears. Implementing an MVP reduces the up-front investment, shortens the project’s timeline, and allows the iterating process to continue while still delivering value to customers.

A global pandemic and the challenges of operating in the COVID-19 environment is forcing many manufacturers, distributors, and wholesalers to adopt eCommerce platforms. According to a McKinsey survey, respondents reported acting on their digital transformation 20 to 25 times faster than they expected. COVID-19 accelerated the move to digital channels for buyer/seller interactions. Face-to-face meetings moved to Zoom and virtual tradeshows replaced in-person events.

Kutner is a proud member of the Forbes Technology Council, an invitation-only organization for senior-level technology executives. Members are respected tech leaders and executives — CEOs, CIOs, CTOs, and others — selected for the council based on their deep knowledge and diverse experience in the industry.
