DEIJI, the new brand developed by creatives Mark Schwartz and Riva Wilkins, is partnering with Flying Solo for New York Fashion Week.

DEIJI (Day-ḡ) will make its New York Fashion Week debut on September 10, 2022, at 433 Broadway, New York. DEIJI’s show begins at 11:00 AM and highlights DEIJI’s new signature line, featuring the Cleopatra and the Elizabeth I. It should be noted the fashion show is by invitation only. Additionally, a private after-party will occur on September 11th at 7:00 PM. The featured items will be available for purchase on and at the Flying Solo store on West Broadway in New York City. Curated by DEIJI Creative Director Mark Schwartz and DEIJI President Riva Wilkins, DEIJI is a luxury fashion line designed and produced in Italy. During New York Fashion Week, DEIJI is hosting a show with the opportunity for exclusive interviews with Schwartz to follow the show from 2:00 – 4:00 PM. In attendance will be Fashion World Elite, and the line will be showcased by Flying Solo models.

About Mark Schwartz

Mark Schwartz is intimately involved with the production of DEIJI, which is made at the same facilities as the most luxurious Italian-made brands with the same skill and quality level. Deemed a certified genius, he graduated from Julliard in the late 1970s and studied under greats like Roger Vivier and Andy Warhol. Schwartz soon became an icon in his own right. Over Schwartz’s 40-year career, he has collaborated with fashion houses such as Gucci, Chanel, Balenciaga, and Marc Jacobs. He has also created footwear per personal request for many celebrities, including Jackie Kennedy Onassis, Madonna, Oprah, Sharon Stone, Julia Roberts, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, JLo, and Hillary Clinton. 


DEIJI is inspired by Asian Pop Culture, Italian Moxy, and American Ingenuity.
