Pokefie lets selfie lovers take a selfie and swap their face with that of their favorite Pokemon Go character.
Pokefie is the simplest way to take a selfie and make it merge with any favorite pokemon. The app works in just three steps to transform any stored selfie into a sought after creature. First the user takes a selfie or selects a picture from the gallery, followed by the auto face detection system capturing the face. The app allows choosing from ten special characters (pokemon, pikachu, charmander, squirtle with a variety of professions). The user can manipulate the face shot with zoom and shift features, and combine it with an emoji before sharing with others.
A day without a smile is a lost day, and the makers of the app did not want that to happen, thus creating the app to start every great day with a smile. They also wanted to make selfie lovers create the happiest and most interesting selfies of their lives. The pokefie can be posted on social media to reveal both the inner happiness and which Pokemon characters the user loves.
Pokefie can be downloaded from the App Store, and comes with a small how-to video to make it easy to follow the steps. The app also has its own devoted webpage.
