New York, NY – The International Association of HealthCare Professionals is pleased to welcome Marcelito Canlas Custodio, MD, Oncologist, to their prestigious organization with his upcoming publication in The Leading Physicians of the World. He is a highly-trained and qualified oncologist with a vast expertise inall facets of his work. Dr. Custodio has been practicing for more than 48 years and although retired from his private practice is currently serving as an Oncologist at MSK Guttman Diagnostic Center in New York city, New York. He is also affiliated toUnion Square Diagnostic Imaging.
Dr. Custodio gained his Doctor of Medicine degree at the University of the Phillipines, graduating from there in 1968. After moving to the United States, Dr. Custodio completed an internship in Internal Medicine at St. Barnabus Hospital. A residency then followed in Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, before a fellowship in Development Therapy Medical Oncology was completed at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas.
Alongside a thriving practice, Dr. Custodio has also served as Assistant Professor at the University of Dentistry and Medicine of New Jersey. He is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, and of the Oncology Society of New Jersey, and he has also provided voluntary service to the Medical Mission to the Phillipines. He says that his success is down to his good training and he enjoys painting and visits to the theater.
