Jack Saxonhouse, DMD, Periodontist, to their prestigious organization with his upcoming publication in The Leading Physicians of the World. Dr. Saxonhouse is a highly trained and qualified periodontist with a vast expertise in all facets of dentistry, especially periodontics. Dr. Saxonhouse had been in practice for more than 20 years in Riverdale, New York and is currently serving as practice transition consultant and practice evaluator for Doctor’s Choice Companies in Jupiter, Florida.
Dr. Saxonhouse is a retired periodontist and former faculty member of a number of prestigious dental schools, such as Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, New York University College of Dentistry, Columbia University College of Dentistry, and Nova Southeastern University School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Saxonhouse was also attending staff member of Ehrling Bergquist Hospital and section chief of periodontics of Montefiore Hospital, North Central Bronx Hospital and Westchester County Medical Center. Dr. Saxonhouse feels he can offer a valuable service to his colleagues who are either considering purchasing or selling their dental practice, helping with associateships, partnerships and contract negotiations.
Dr. Saxonhouse went to Tufts University School of Dental Medicine where he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 1967. He then completed his certificate in periodontics at New York University College of Dentistry in 1973. Prior to dental school, he completed his Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology at New York University, Heights campus, in 1962. Dr. Saxonhouse is a recognized dental practice appraiser by the American Dental Association. In addition, he maintains professional memberships with the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Periodontics, and the Florida State Dental Society which allows him to remain current in the latest developments, guidelines, and procedures in the dental arena. Dr. Saxonhouse previously served Blythedale Children’s Hospital as chief of service in periodontics and has also served as a guest lecturer for various dental societies. Dr Saxonhouse is a Fellow of the American College of Dentistry and the International College of Dentistry, both organizations which require peer appointment. Dr. Saxonhouse credits his success to his caring nature, and dedicates his spare time to his wife, two children, five grandchildren, playing golf, and traveling.
